Soil Saver
An environmentally friendly solution to brine-impacted soil remediation.
- By adjusting the dosage and/or surface area, Soil Saver works effectively in all soil types tested to date.
- Soil Saver can reduce total soluble salts from greater than 100,000 ppm to less than 500 ppm typically in 30 to 90 days
- Soil Saver is non-toxic, non-reactive, & non-corrosive
- Soil Saverheals brine-impacted soils, which reduces the need to landfill the impacted soil as solid waste
- Compared to traditional clean up processes, Soil Saver typically reduces your remediation costs by up to 50%

- Nature's low cost solution to brine-impacted soil remediation.
- Don't let salt scars become a lingering long term liability!
- Heals brine-impacted & salt-scarred soils in 30 - 90 days without excavation or heavy equipment
- Significantly lowers clean-up costs
- Works effectively on both small and large areas and can be applied to areas that are tough to treat with traditional methods.
How does Soil Saver work?
- The ions in the brine water cause damage to the soil structure and osmotic stress on plants and soil organisms
- SOIL SAVER is an enhanced biomolecule with thousands of ion binding-sites. SOIL SAVER has been uniquely modified to expose the ion-binding sites on the molecule to maximize salt removal.
- Once incorporated into the soil matrix, the Soil Saver irreversibly traps the ions, which restores the soil's ability to support plants and soil organisms
- The customized microbial consortium and chemical amendments in Soil Saver accelerate the bioremediation process to maximize the effectiveness of the treatment
What's involved in a Soil Saver project?
- A Bear Creek Environmental Scientist will conduct a site assessment that includes:
- Mapping and photo-documenting the area of concern
- Sampling the soil and water to assess the impact
- Estimating the costs of your remediation options
- If you elect to utilize Soil Saver to remediate your project, Bear Creek's staff will prepare the location and apply the product
- At 30-day intervals after the Soil Saver application, Bear Creek will sample the soil to monitor the progress of the treatment, which usually requires 60-90 days for maximum effect
- Bear Creek can serve as your liaison to regulatory agencies , land owners, and/or other involved parties
- Once the soil analyte levels meet your clean-up criteria, Bear Creek will prepare a detailed summary report of the project
